FIRST® LEGO® League & RoboCup Junior: instruments of STEM talent promotion

In the welcome address to FIRST® LEGO® League the German Secretary of Education emphasizes the importance of STEM for today´s society! A participation in our programs FIRST® LEGO® League and RoboCup Junior is part of the certification criteria of the German non-profit MINT-EC and we recommend participating schools awarding their students with the MINT-EC certificate! It shows the quality of (out-of-)school performances in STEM for future graduates and is supported and accepted by the educational council of the government and further relevant institutions in the STEM area.
