Sustainable STEM Education in Numbers and Facts

by Stefanie Sieber

For over 20 years, HANDS on TECHNOLOGY has been passionately dedicated to improving STEM education at both school and extracurricular learning venues. Our central STEM education program, the FIRST LEGO League, is constantly reviewed, documented, and optimized to best meet the needs of our target groups. In the fiscal year 2023, our projects have made a significant contribution to the sustainable development of our society, as documented in our impact report.

The impact report provides a detailed description of the content and evaluation of our various offerings. Additionally, it includes some impressive numbers, stories, and facts that highlight the effectiveness of our programs for the participants:

:: 824 schools, after-school programs, clubs, and other institutions have served as sustainable learning venues for our STEM offerings.

:: 441 classes and 963 teams have enthusiastically built, programmed, and researched.

:: 70 partners have enabled the implementation of our STEM education programs in various regions.

:: 17 sponsors have allowed many teams and classes to participate in our programs free of charge.

:: Over 1,400 volunteers have actively supported us at the events.

We thank all involved for a successful year in 2023! You can find more exciting results and insights into our work in our full impact report online (in German language): www.hands-on-technology.org/en/vision/impact-reports.
