Future of the Program Presented

LEGO Education has announced the future direction of its competition system. The 2026/27 BIOGLOW™ season of FIRST® LEGO® League will be the last joint season with FIRST.
From August 2027, the new LEGO® League will launch, continuing the concept with a focus on STEM education, teamwork, and competitions for ages 5 to 16.
Regarding the technical platforms: in the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, LEGO Education SPIKE™ systems will continue to be used. In parallel, the new Computer Science & AI platform is already being introduced in the Future Edition. From 2028/29 onward, this new platform will be used exclusively in the program.
